Deborah Oswald

Deborah Oswald is the Vice President/Executive Director of the Veterans Assistance Foundation.  She is an honorably discharged Wisconsin Army National Guard veteran with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with emphasis in Management and Human Resource Management

While serving in the National Guard, she was selected as Troop Command Soldier of the Year for 1987, and served in Operations Desert Shield/Desert Storm from August 1990 to August 1991.

Deborah has over 4 years experience with the Veterans Assistance Center at Tomah/Fort McCoy as the Office Manager, Director of Operations, Director, and then becoming Executive Director of the Veterans Assistance Foundation in July, 1999.  In July 2000, she became the Vice President of the Board of Directors for the Veterans Assistance Foundation.

Deborah is involved with grant writing and the administration of the Veterans Assistance Foundation in Tomah, Fort McCoy, King, and Madison, Wisconsin, as well as Bakersfield, California.  She has also been on several advisory committees for the VAMC Tomah regarding issues with homeless veterans.
